I think the rise of social network affects language us by using less emotions and new words, which will basically lead to using one set of language. Now most people meet by the internet then they use to before by in the streets or an event. An example is how they don't let people in China use facebook and twiiter, its saying how the governement of China don't want to be like the U.S. Also because then there (China) language would be lost, and people over there would just use the language of social networking.
The spread of internet and other technologies does not necessary create a larger need for english language around the world just, because how all the social networking began in english it can start also to in another language. And then basically it can always go and translate in another language, and new start of other wors and language will start in the country.

Joel
dÊ’oel
The first syllable of my name "Joel" has the onset of voiced, affricate, with palatal. Then the o comes from mid back. The e is mid and front. The l is alveolar and liquid.
You pronouce my name by first raising your tongue to alveolar ridge then letting it go down. The O is made by putting your two lips together, and your tongue being in the middle of your upper and lower teeth. Next your tongue going out and passing your front upper teeth. At last the l sound made of your tonge going up and touching your two front upper teeth.

Solo Me
On my relationship with language i have more then one girl. Since i was born here in New York my main girl is suppose to be english, but since my parent's are hispanic they made me cheat on english with spanish. Now in day especially in the United States, it is very helpful to know more htne one language. I'm glad to say I can speak, write, and understand both english and spanish. I basically picked up how to speak both languages just being home and my parensts talking to whom ever. The language i decide to speak depends the environment I am around, but recently I speak both languages everywhere I am. At work its both, because depending on the customer I get it depends the language they know. So that triggers me to connect with them on th elanguage they know best, so things can work out more smoother and quicker. At home my whole family speaks both language, but since they're from a spanish country they tend to talk more in spanish so I respond to them in spanish. In school most of the friends I have there know both english and spanish, so I speak with them both languages depending on how we feeling. But in the classroom and during classes its all mostly english we speak. So you can say at times there is a language at times I use more then the other, it really depends on the situation and place. Like if some relatives of mines come from like Dominican Republic I just can't great them in english and start talking to them in english they just wouldn't understand. Since I know the english language well I would speak it at a fast rate and they reallly wouldn't understand me. Now lets say in class my english teacher asks me a question about a story, it wouldn't be logical to answer my teacher in spanish. Because my teacher wouldn't understand one word, since for example lets say they only knew the english language. I picked up both languages at home, but also each language i picked up stronger in different places. Like in school I picked up english more since thats what they mostly speak there. At home my parents speaked spanish since they are not from the US, but also because they wanted me and my sisters to know that language since we are hispanic. So we should know our ancestors language, and it would help out in the future. I believe language happens because of culture, depending the culture your in thats the language your going to speak and so are your kids. The hypothesis I have for how a language is acquired is by generation, and culture. Lets say a guy who only knows how to speak english has a child with a girl who only knows how to speak spanish, for both of them to communicate they would both have to teach each other their language like that they can connect and understand each other. Then coming down the baby being born it comes down to them talking both language in the house, the kid of corase is goign to pick it up and start repeating most of the words they are speaking. Like that they both teach their child the languages, and since both of them know the two different languages and talk it so much thats how they would connect with their child. if it wasn't for language how else would people communicate and connect with other people, especially family. The way you learn a first or second language isn't the same as learning third or fourth language. for me it was easier learning both languages english and spanish when I was younger I don't really know why though. But know that im older and I know more its harder for me to learn another language. It might be because I barely had any knowledge before so I could take many things like language which holds lost of memory and knowledge in it. So now that im grown and have more knowledge I can't learn it that easier like before. I wonder if all languages are connect by some sort of ruling or something.
